Companion app for summer sports · iPhone & Apple Watch
Roam freely or head for a goal. And get back safely.
Waymark goes with you through 25 summer sports, from the morning run to a day in the kayak. It remembers your hotel and the station, guides you to your goal and keeps emergency numbers for 119 countries ready, even without a signal. No account, no subscription, no ads.
Everything is simulated, all values are made up, your location is never requested. Pick one of 25 sports, switch between map, tiles, speedometer and compass and let the app guide you to a goal.
Pick a sport and tap Start. Time runs 30 times faster in the demo. On the water there are no elevation values, and the route to the goal adapts to the sport.
No photos yet. Tap the camera during the tour.
Pick a sport and see which metrics it gets and how Waymark guides you to the goal: a route from Apple Maps or a straight line with compass bearing.
In the tour journal, tags and a selectable period split the analysis or pull everything together. Tap a tour to see its timeline.
The first tours are examples. Tours saved in the simulator appear in front and stay in this browser only.
Enter a place, your return trip and a contact, then open the help view. Switch GPS off: the saved data stays available. Everything stays in this browser.
Tick off what you have done. Your progress stays in this browser only.
Four areas: Today, Tours, Places, Safety. Everything you need on the go is one tap away.
Today. The emergency bar at the top, below it the start card “Your next tour” with sport pill, weekly or monthly goal as a ring, weather with rating, last time out, planned tours, sunset and departure, plus your saved places as chips.
Free roam. No goal, just go. One tap starts the recording, the map stays the picture. Pull the values sheet up when you want numbers. Auto-pause per sport, recovery after a crash, keeps running with the screen locked.
With a goal. A saved place or an earlier tour becomes the goal. On land, Apple Maps calculates the route for driving, cycling or walking. On the water and in open terrain there is no path, so the compass with goal arrow and the straight line show direction and distance.
Plan a tour. Set waypoints on the map, Waymark shows distance and estimated duration. The planned tour sits as a template on “Today” and becomes a recording with one tap.
Places. Hotel, station, rental car, meeting point: save once, with category, tags and favourites. Every place gets a map image and its distance from you. The way back starts with one tap, also via Siri.
Every sport brings its own tiles and metrics, its own auto-pause and the fitting way to reach a goal.
Distance, speed or pace, vertical, gradient, heart rate and calories. Hiking shows the DIN 33466 walking time.
Running · Trail running · Hiking · Nordic walking · Walking · Road cycling · Mountain biking · Gravel · E-bike · Inline skating · Horse riding
Speed, distance and riding time, without heart rate and calories. Kart counts laps with best lap across a start-finish line.
Motorcycle · Scooter · Quad · Kart
No elevation values. Swimming shows pace per 100 m, rowing shows stroke rate and distance per stroke. Plus wind and heat warnings from the weather.
Open water swimming · Kayak · Canoe · Stand-up paddling · Rowing · Sailing · Surfing · Windsurfing · Kitesurfing · Jet ski
You choose up to six tiles per sport yourself, or take a template:
Redrawn views in the look of the app, not photos. The captions match the planned App Store images.
Speed, distance and elevation live
25 sports, one app
By speed, elevation or heart rate
Plus every kilometre in detail
Profile coloured by gradient
With goals and last year's comparison
Also in “Insights”: personal bests per sport and your training load, heatmap, trends, filters by sport, tags and period.
More precise with heart rate, fully usable without it. The method is shown next to every value.
From heart rate using Keytel, otherwise a MET estimate from sport, speed and weight.
TRIMP from time in zones, per tour and over time.
Weight, year of birth, sex, resting and maximum heart rate. They stay on the device.
The Apple Watch measures, the iPhone shows it. Off by default.
Estimates for guidance. Not a medical device. Motorized sports get neither heart rate nor calories.
All sports together or each on its own. With goals, trends and the comparison to last year.
Longest distance, top speed, biggest ascent, fastest lap.
List or map, track image, colour tags, tags, totals and sorting. Every day as a timeline.
Tour report as PDF with map, elevation profile and photos, day report, GPX both ways, full backup, share and print.
Where you often go and how week and month develop.
Track by speed, elevation or heart rate, km markers, elevation profile by gradient, values per km, heart rate curve.
Level at the start and end of every tour.
Example values. Goals exist for week and month; for the year the app compares with last year up to the same day.
Drag the slider: when should you turn around to be back before sunset?
Example: hike from 2 pm at 4 km/h. The turn-around banner is for sports on foot; the notification 60 minutes before sunset and the sunset widget are for everyone.
The camera opens from the running tour. Every picture remembers where you stood and where you looked.
The “Safety” area works locally on the device. None of it needs a server or an account.
Main number, mountain rescue, air rescue and more, stored offline. The app detects the country automatically or you pick it by hand. iOS asks before every call.
Hotel, family, mountain rescue with initials and role. One tap calls.
Last bus, train or cable car with time, remaining time and straight-line distance.
Choose a return time, on the way tap “I'm back” or “+30 min”. If the time passes, the app prepares a message with your last location to your contacts. Sending it is up to you.
Saved place and current coordinates to show or read out, also opened via Siri. Works without a GPS signal using the saved data.
Waymark does not replace an emergency call or your own tour planning.
Two devices, two versions: you decide. Try it.
Evening ride Tag: Bike
Mountain hike Tag: Hiking
Reads heart rate, energy and weight, saves the workout with route and breaks.
Your private iCloud with a conflict manager: device, iCloud, both or merge.
Heart rate, zones and body data never go to iCloud.
No ads, no analytics SDKs, no developer server.
No “Always” permission. In the background only during a tour. For the weather a rounded location goes to Apple.
Sunset, safety timer and place reminders are scheduled by your iPhone itself.
Heart rate in GPX only if you want it. Messages to contacts are sent by you.

A tour, navigation and safety app, not just a tracker. The comparison statements come from the table below.
To the hotel, to the station, to yesterday's tour: Waymark guides you there, with a route from Apple Maps or the compass. €2.99 once, done.
Comparison: According to vendor information (as of November 2026): Strava keeps routes in its subscription, Komoot needs an account.
Emergency numbers for 119 countries, emergency contacts, return reminder, safety timer and help view live on the device and work in a dead zone.
Comparison: The vendor information of the six apps in the table lists no emergency numbers or help view without a network.
Swimming with pace per 100 m, rowing with stroke rate, kart with best lap, motorcycle without calorie maths. Every sport with its own tiles.
Comparison: According to vendor information (as of November 2026): adidas Running covers running, walking and cycling, Komoot around ten outdoor sports.
On the lake, on the beach, across the alpine meadow: goal arrow, bearing and distance instead of an empty map. Plus speedometer instrument, elevation and heart rate in the cockpit.
Comparison: A compass and speedometer view is not listed in the compared apps' vendor information.
Every photo shows on the map where you were looking. The tour report with map, elevation profile and photos and the day report come as PDF, the track as GPX.
Comparison: According to vendor information (as of November 2026): The compared apps show photos without viewing direction; PDF, GPX and full backup are only partly available there.
Heart rate, zones, calories and body data never go to iCloud and never to the developer. No server, no analytics, no ads.
For winter there is the sister app Snow Compass with slopes and lifts. If you only want lean training with heart rate zones and trends, without places and safety, OneTwo Sports is the right choice.

You pay once and travel without running costs. The price in the App Store at launch applies.
For everyone who is outdoors in summer and needs more than a stopwatch with a map: the way back to the hotel, the number of the mountain rescue, the time of the last bus. Plus 25 sports from running to horse riding, motorcycling and kitesurfing, each with its own metrics.
On “Today” you pick the sport and either “Free roam” or “With a goal”. One tap on “Start tour” is enough, there is no countdown and no press-and-hold. Finishing uses a two-step pill so nothing happens by accident in your pocket.
Free roam simply records, without a goal. With a goal guides you to a saved place or an earlier tour: on land with the route from Apple Maps for driving, cycling or walking, on the water and in open terrain with straight line and compass bearing.
Yes. The numbers for 119 countries are stored in the app. The app detects the country automatically or you pick it yourself. iOS asks before every call. Waymark does not replace an emergency call or your own tour planning.
No. If the return time has passed, the app prepares a message with your last location to your contacts and opens the Messages window. Sending it is up to you. The app never sends on its own.
No. The iPhone records everything. With the watch you start, pause and finish from your wrist, read live values and statistics and see your places. With “Live heart rate” it measures your pulse and sends it to the iPhone. The watch does not record on its own.
From Apple Weather (WeatherKit): feels-like temperature, wind, rain, UV, 24 hours and 7 days. Waymark rates the conditions per sport and names the best time window. For this a rounded location goes to Apple.
With heart rate using the Keytel formula, without heart rate as a MET estimate from sport, speed, gradient and weight. The method is shown next to every value. Motorized sports get no calories. All values are estimates; the app is not a medical device.
The track is saved continuously. After a restart the tour continues, the downtime counts as a break. Recording keeps running with the screen locked.
Yes: tour report as PDF with map, elevation profile and photos, day report, GPX export (heart rate only on request), GPX import with preview and a full backup as an .spt file. Share and print directly from the app.
Your data lives on your device. Optionally you sync it through your private iCloud, with a conflict manager instead of silent overwriting. Heart rate, zones and body data always stay on the device. There is no server, no analytics service, no advertising.
On iPhone from iOS 18 and on Apple Watch from watchOS 11. Plus widgets, the Control Center button and the Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. The app is available in English and German.
