Version 1.1

November 2026

New

  • Twelve languages: Besides English and German, the app is now available in French, Spanish (Spain and Mexico), Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Italian, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil) and Dutch. The new languages are machine-translated.
  • Choose any language: In Settings, General, Language you can pick any of the twelve languages, even if your device uses a different one. The change takes effect right away.
  • More document types in file names: The {type} placeholder now also recognizes bank statements, official notices, insurance letters and medical letters.
  • What’s New: After an update, the app shows the changes once. Afterwards you’ll find them anytime in Settings, About.
  • Help: Help now also covers Explain in the translator and title suggestions with Apple Intelligence.

Removed

  • Summary: Document summaries with Apple Intelligence are no longer available. Title suggestions and Explain remain.

Scan and add

  • Scan several pages in one go, with the Apple scanner or the built-in scanner with burst capture
  • Add photos, images, files and PDFs, paste from the clipboard, add blank pages and sketches with your finger or Apple Pencil
  • ID copy: front and back true to scale on one page

Arrange and edit

  • Pages as tiles: reorder with drag and drop, select several at once, duplicate, hide, copy or move
  • Crop, straighten, rotate, mirror and seven filters, including Shadow-Free; the original is always kept
  • Save your signature and place it right on the page
  • True redaction: the text under the bar is gone from every file
  • Every change can be undone

Recognize text

  • Text recognition (OCR) and searchable PDFs
  • Live scanner for QR codes, barcodes and text, business cards as contacts, tables as CSV
  • Translator camera, also from the Lock Screen
  • With Apple Intelligence: title suggestions, summaries and Explain for labels (iOS 26 or later)

Export and share

  • PDF, JPEG, PNG, HEIC or text, paper sizes A1 to A5, US Letter and US Legal
  • Password, read-only protection, watermark, page numbers and maximum file size
  • Share, mail, print, save to Files or Photos, Quick Save to a default folder
  • File names from a template, optionally with the detected document type

Find and protect

  • Search that includes recognized text, color tags and a trash that keeps items for 30 days
  • Optional sync through your private iCloud; you decide on conflicts
  • App Lock and protected documents with Face ID, Touch ID or passcode
  • Widgets, controls for Control Center and the Action button, Shortcuts, Spotlight and a share extension
  • Color themes, light and dark mode, English and German, for iPhone and iPad
